CONTRACT FOR EXECUTIVE HIRE

As the Hirer, you are entering into a contract with the Operator, trading as Yorkshire Wolds Executive Cars.This contract is subject to the following terms and conditions, which do not affect your statutory rights.In accordance with North Yorkshire County Council’s Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy, we enter into a contract with the Hirer on the following basis only:-

  1. A confirmed, written Contract for the hire of an executive vehicle, must be placed no less than 24 hours prior to the commencement of the journey

  2. We will provide a luxury specification, high-end vehicle

  3. We will provide a chauffeur observing a formal dress code

  4. We will deliver executive transfers

  5. Separate Invoicing in advance of the journey for the pre-agreed fare

  6. No payments will be taken in the vehicle

  7. We do not undertake standard Private Hire work or School work

  8. Licensing identification is available for inspection inside the vehicle

  9. The vehicle will be kept in immaculate condition

Our contract with you, the Hirer, is comprised of the following:-

  1. These Terms and Conditions, and your acceptance of these when making a booking

  2. An Order booking form

  3. Our confirmation of the price for the booking

  4. Receipt of Electronic Payment in advance of travel, for the price quoted and constituting  acceptance of this contract.

  • Payment is by electronic means only, methods to be advised by the Operator.

  • Once the booking has been confirmed, the price will not change unless there is a deviation from the original booking.

  • A minimum charge applies to all journeys

  • Unless agreed and priced in advance, an hourly waiting time of £30 will apply from the agreed collection time.

Our Policies and standards

We comply with strict Licensing requirements, with the intention of delivering a safe and secure transportation of clients.

  1. Public Liability cover of up to £5m is provided by the Operator.

  2. We operate a no smoking or vaping policy in our vehicles.

  3. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the journey will be charged at the pre-agreed rate

  4. Agreed Timings -We will make every effort to meet and alight our clients at agreed times, but there may be circumstances beyond our control that may affect our ability to do so, including traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather.

  5. Waiting Times for airport collections of up to 1 hour is included beyond the scheduled flight arrival, provided at the time of booking. We reserve the right to advise an additional fee beyond this time.

  6. Vehicle issues - in the event of vehicle breakdown, puncture, or accident, we will do our best to assist you to finish your journey as soon as possible.We are unable to accept liability for missed flights or consequential loss as a result of an interrupted journey.

  7. Unavailable Clients and passengers- For collections from locations where the Hirer is not present within 30 minutes of the agreed time, and attempts have been made to contact the hirer, we may be required to cancel the service if no update can be obtained. We reserve the right to retain full payment in such cases.

  8. Unless otherwise advised by the Operator at the time of booking, quotations will include road Tolls, congestion charges and parking (up to 1 hour) associated with the journey, unless the Hirer requests specific arrangements or  routing of the vehicle

  9. Safety of passengers - we reserve the right to decline to carry individuals whose behaviour is of concern to the driver

  10. Complaints about the service should be made in writing within 48 hours of the journey. We will inform North Yorkshire Council of complaints within 48 hours of receipt,

  11. Refunds- will be paid in the event that the Operator is unable to fulfil the booking due to circumstances that are within our control. Refunds for cancellations made by the Hirer more than 24 hours prior to the start of the journey will be provided.

  12. Children- Hirers advising that passengers will include a child requiring a child seat or booster are required to  provide, safely install and remove this equipment. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

  13. Assistance Dogs-  please advise at the time of booking. We will assist you into and out of the vehicle as required.

  14. Personal Information-We will treat all personal information as confidential and not disclose it to third parties unless specifically requested by North Yorkshire Council licensing authority.

  15. Vehicle standards -  meet Euro 6 emissions & Euro NCAP 5* safety standards.
